A city is not a country

Luxor is where I was born, where I studied, and where I have spent seventeen years learning the sites from the inside. But Egypt is more than one city. Over those years, clients have asked me again and again: can you take me to Cairo? Can we go to Aswan together? Is there someone trustworthy who can arrange the diving at Hurghada? The answer was always the same — I can arrange that.

This section of the site exists because of those questions. Every arrangement goes through me — I work with a small number of guides I trust in each city, brief them on your interests, and stay available to you by WhatsApp throughout the journey. This is not a handoff to an agency call center. Think of it as me being one step removed from the ground.

The reason I am careful about this distinction is that I have seen the alternative: a traveler books a “package” and arrives to find a different guide from the one described, a rushed itinerary designed to extract tips, and no one available to call when something goes wrong. I have spent years building the relationships that make a different kind of experience possible.

    The Egyptian Museum holds the most important collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts anywhere in the world. The Giza plateau and the Tutankhamun galleries each require a full day, guided properly.

    Aswan & Abu Simbel

    Philae Temple, relocated stone by stone after the High Dam raised the water level, is one of the most thoughtfully curated archaeological rescues in history. Abu Simbel, four hours south, rewards the early start absolutely.

    Hurghada & the Red Sea

    The northern Red Sea has some of the healthiest coral reef systems in the world. I arrange diving excursions, snorkeling day trips, and private yacht charters through a small operator I have vetted personally over several years.
